After going on many trips into China, it has become very clear to me that the work there need more than just new strategies or more finances. While men are looking for better methods and more money, God is looking for better men.
John 8:35 And the slave does not abide in the house forever, but the Son abides forever.
Once the Lord finds a right person like Joseph, He will place him in the place of authority, mobilise all the finances, pour out all His wisdom on Him, to accomplish the work of the Kingdom.
It is painful to acknowledge, but it is only sons who will have any inheritance in the Kingdom. No matter how much good works a servant does, if he is not discipled in his life (forsake all, take up the cross and follow Christ), he Will Not be staying in the house at all.
A sober reminder for us that we should pursue our leader / shepherd closely, be transparent and open for correction, so as to become true sons of God and be a father to many as well...
