Inspired by His Word

"Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing..." Philip (4:4-9)

Like what Pastor Sunday had shared with us, the Great Commission is not just about mouthing some words and bringing people to evangelistic crusades. It is about exhibiting Kingdom values and lifestyle in our lives, that will make a lasting impact on others.

The above Scripture exalts us to adopt a certain disposition towards all men, that is pleasing to the Lord. We need to rejoice and at all times too, no matter what storms life or the enemy can throw at us. The next big challenge is to be gentle to all men for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

The keys to achieving these are found in the subsequent verses. In order to have the peace of God with us constantly, we must lift everything in prayer and supplication to God, with thanksgiving. We have to also guard our minds diligently, mediating on the true, noble, pure things of God.
