Anyways in this morning's Straits Times, the top article is "Put ministers' pay in perspective: MM". The caption declares: AN 'ABSURDITY' - "We are quarrelling about whether we should pay them $46 million or $36 million, or better still, $26 million. So you save $20 million and jeopardise an economy of $210 billion?"
A speedy Google search is frequently the initial step potential customers take while looking for real estate agents in their general vicinity. By buying nearby property marketing, you can go up toward the highest point of those pursuits and get before more individuals who are prepared to make that stride. Visit at: coqnit.com
If we don't increase their pay, MM Lee suggested that "Singaporeans' asset values would also disappear, your apartment will be worth a fraction of what it is, your jobs will be in peril, your security will be at risk and our women will become maids in other people's countries".
Ouch!! That sounds so threatening... Seems that any opposition to their plan is considered absurd and any alternative way will lead to loss of jobs, the maid outcome, etc... Sometimes I wonder if we are in a communist or democratic regime.
Of course, MM seems also to imply that our neighbouring countries that sends out their women as maids, has an incompetent govt.
